Sonia Vohnout’s life took a profound turn when her husband, Steve, faced over a decade of heart disease, culminating in a heart transplant. This experience deepened her understanding of resilience, relationships, and the power of support.

Growing up in Costa Rica, Sonia later returned to the United States to pursue a career in technology and innovation. As President and CEO of OppsSpot, LLC, she helps startups and small businesses reach their potential, driven by a commitment to nurturing others' dreams.

Steve’s health challenges were a test of Sonia's strength. As a caregiver for both her parents and her husband, she balanced her role while managing her own chronic illness. She turned to painting, hiking, and regular exercise to stay strong and focused, learning the importance of self-care and the courage to ask for help.

Sonia's commitment to giving back grew stronger through these experiences. She actively volunteers with the American Heart Association and the Immune Deficiency Foundation, finding purpose and healing in supporting others.

Balancing her professional life with personal well-being, Sonia continues to find joy in hiking, traveling, and painting. These activities renew her strength and creativity, allowing her to face challenges head-on, both in life and in business. Sonia believes in taking care of herself to take care of others, using each challenge as an opportunity to build resilience and inspire those around her.
