Mindset Reinvented: Unlocking Your Body’s Potential
Hey everyone, today I experienced something profound, and I have to share it with you. If you've heard my first awakening experience, this one goes even deeper. And if you're new, don’t worry—this story will stand on its own and might just change how you view your body’s capabilities.
Today was my fourth session, and I walked in with zero expectations. No chasing after a specific experience, no pressure, just a neutral mind. I wanted to be present, open to whatever might happen.
What happened next was nothing short of extraordinary. It all started with the simplest setup. I was lying face down, hands resting on comfortable supports, head in a familiar face cradle. It seemed like a typical treatment, but what followed was anything but.
As I moved my head gently from side to side, keeping my chin slightly tucked, I noticed my breathing deepen naturally. The sounds I made while exhaling grew louder and more pronounced. And here's the thing— I was the only one making sound in a room full of people. I wasn’t worried about how it sounded. That self-consciousness would’ve blocked this experience.
Then, a wave of warmth began in my shoulders. This wasn’t the usual heat you feel after exercise. It was warmth from the inside out, spreading through my body. Imagine the feeling of life force moving through you. It was smooth, fluid, and comforting.
It wasn’t like the pins-and-needles feeling when your foot falls asleep. This was something different. It felt like every cell in my body suddenly woke up, singing in harmony. It was like my body was operating at its fullest potential.
But this time, the energy concentrated in my upper body. I felt it in my arms and hands, and instinctively placed my hands on different parts of my body: my heart, shoulders, neck, and hips. My body was guiding me. It wasn’t about controlling the energy; it was about partnering with it, letting it guide me.
It was as if my body was telling me: “Don’t waste this energy—direct it, let it heal.” The doctor tried to help direct the energy, but I quickly learned this energy has its own intelligence and path.
The difference between being in your head and being in your body became crystal clear to me. We spend so much time in our heads, distracted, not fully present. But in that flow state, everything is different. The emotions I felt were deeper, more authentic. You can’t access this depth through thought alone.
After experiencing this state, when I’m back in my head, it feels limited, constrained—like I’m operating at a fraction of my potential. It’s like watching a movie in black and white and then discovering color. Going back doesn’t feel the same.
This isn’t about some special ability. It’s about letting go. Trusting your body’s wisdom. Feeling the feelings, making the sounds, and surrendering to what your body needs. It’s about creating the conditions and then letting go. The more I surrender, the more I can access my body’s wisdom.
We’ve been taught to control our bodies, but what if it’s time to listen instead? What if our bodies have been trying to tell us something all along, and we’ve been too busy in our heads to hear it?
Leaving today’s session, I felt even more in awe of what our bodies are capable of. Our bodies have healing capabilities we often miss because we’re stuck in our heads. But when we listen, amazing things happen.
